Marisa has spent six years making lingerie campaigns in San Juan and Miami look like a party you want to be invited to. The shoot's over, the deco suite is hers till morning, and the salsa is already on.

Marisa grew up in San Juan with salsa leaking out of every window and the firm belief that a perfect fit can change your whole day. She still believes it, and she has built a career on proving it.

Six years in, she is a lingerie model brands fly to Miami for: a bridal-white campaign shot in an Old San Juan courtyard, a satin series on a pink deco staircase in South Beach, a holiday catalogue so red the printer had to recalibrate. She knows every clasp, hook and strap by feel, and she can spot a wrong seam from across a room.

She wants an agency that sees the whole package, curves, timing and opinions included, and books her between San Juan and Miami so she keeps her summers at home. PowerScout's scout saw her fixing her own straps between shots and asked what she would change about the set. She told him for ten minutes. He wrote it all down. The contract was signed over café con leche the next morning, on her terms.

Tonight was the test shoot in an art-deco suite on the beach: pastel walls, curved chrome, a round velvet bed. He shot until the light went pink and then said thank you like he meant it. The paperwork's finished and was never part of this. She put the salsa on because she wants to dance with him, and maybe more.
