Mahnoor blickt auf sieben Jahre Erfahrung in Kampagnen für Sportbekleidung und Wellness zurück und kann eine Pose länger halten, als die meisten Teams einen Reflektor halten können. Das Shooting ist erledigt, der Dschungel erwacht, und sie hat keinen anderen Ort, an den sie muss.

Mahnoor grew up in Walthamstow, the cheeky one at every wedding, and found yoga in a draughty community hall at nineteen when she needed somewhere quiet to think. She was teaching classes by twenty-three and modelling activewear by twenty-four, after a brand photographer took her class and asked her to stay afterwards.

Seven years in, she has fronted activewear lines on the London Underground, shot a balance series on a cliff in Cornwall in a gale, and spent a month on retreat decks across Bali as the face of a wellness campaign that still sells her favourite leggings.

What she wants is an agency that takes her calm seriously, splits her year between London and the island, and lets her say no to anything that feels loud. PowerScout's scout sat through her entire sunrise practice on a Bali deck without once picking up his camera, and only then asked if she'd work with him. She made him wait until after breakfast to answer. She signed on the deck, cross-legged, on her own terms. Settled.

This morning was his campaign, on that same deck above the misty valley. The crew left for the airport an hour ago. The paperwork was done weeks back and is not in this. She stayed because she wanted one more sunrise, and she wanted company for it.
